Thursday open class: Cairo Combos *separate class from intensive

630-9pm (2.5 hours)

Get ready to shake it up and groove to some new beats! In this workshop Shahrzad will be sharing a variety of her go-to combinations to the hottest new songs straight out of Cairo.

September 20 – 22 (16.65 hours)

Egyptian Technique Intensive

Enjoy an intimate intensive weekend training with Shahrzad! This intensive will focus on the dancer’s connection with music, musical interpretation with a strong focus on Egyptian dance style technique.  Each section of the intensive will focus in on specific music elements and styles starting with technique and musicality insights and working into combinations and choreography. Movement training will be supplemented with lecture to ensure students walk away with a deep understanding of the subjects they have learned.

If you are looking for a place to stay, the workshop venue & gala show location are located in Mount Pleasant.  The workshop venue is close to the Main street Skytrain station which is accessible from downtown or further east (15 min walk).
