Are you looking for a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Join us for a transformative one-day Pilates retreat in the heart of Vancouver on Saturday, November 4th. This exclusive event promises to be a blissful day of wellness, featuring multiple Pilates classes, an energizing Qigong meditation session, a delectable charcuterie lunch, and an overall focus on nourishing your mind, body, and soul.  This is an inclusive class & space for ALL people, bodies, genders, experience and ages.  If you have a body, you are invited!

 

**Schedule:**

**9:00 AM – 9:15 AM Registration & Welcome

9:15 AM – 10:00 AM:** Energizing Pilates Mat Class
Kickstart your day with an invigorating Pilates session led by our experienced and certified instructor. This mat-based class will help you build strength, flexibility, and balance.

**10:10 AM – 10:55 AM:** Pilates Class 2

**11:05 AM – 11:50 AM: **Qigong Meditation
Discover the revitalizing effects of Earth & Water Qi Gong, a practice that combines mindful movement, gentle breathing & energy cultivation.  Shakya’s guidance will empower you to harness the life force within, promoting physical vitality, emotional well-being, and a heightened sense of awareness. **11:50 AM – 1:00 PM:** Charcuterie Lunch
Indulge in a thoughtfully curated charcuterie lunch, featuring a delightful assortment of gourmet cheeses, meats, fresh fruits, and artisanal accompaniments. Savour the flavours while connecting with like-minded individuals and nurturing a sense of community.

** 1:00 PM – 1:45P M: **Pilates Class 3

** 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM: **Pilates Class 4

**2:45 PM – 3:00 PM:** Closing Ceremony and Reflection
Wrap up the day with a brief closing ceremony, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences, insights, and newfound connections with fellow participants. Embrace the sense of accomplishment and renewed energy that this day of wellness has bestowed upon you.

Monika Fronc – MA Physical Education, Balanced Body University , The Pilates Center
Monika has been teaching Pilates since 2007.  After graduating from the Academy of Physical Education in Cracow, Poland with a Master’s Degree, she moved to Dublin, Ireland where she completed Pilates teacher training with Balanced Body University. Since then she regularly continues her education to broaden her knowledge and experience in fitness and rehabilitation. In 2015 she started her Classical Pilates training with The Pilates Centre in Boulder, Colorado.  Monika is the founder of The Pilates Portal – an online studio with live & on-demand classes.

 

 

 

 

 

Ashley Rhianne – BCr Rehabilitation, RA, Stott Pilates
Ashley Rhianne has been teaching Pilates since 2008.  Ashley Rhianne is a rehabilitation assistant working in physical & occupational therapy in a variety of fields.  She continued her rehabilitation journey graduating with a BCr  from University of Calgary.  She completed her Stott Pilates Level 1 exams in spring 2018 and jumped right into teaching. Ashley Rhianne has worked in boutique pilates studios and spent a year working at a physiotherapy clinic.  She has her own home studio where she sees 1:1 clients and offers online teaching. Ashley Rhianne is currently launching an on-demand studio set to launch fall 2023.  In addition to pilates, Ashley Rhianne is a world-renowned bellydance performer & instructor.
