Expect an immersion into all things Egyptian with cultural and historical tours, dance, pilates and movement, food (so much food), more dance, live shows, shopping and more!
Shahrzad has been living in Egypt for over 10 years and has spent alot of time learning, researching and curating the perfect Egyptian experience for dancers and Egypt-curious people to ensure a tour that not only brings you the best of the best, but one that also focuses on supporting local families and businesses. There won’t be any name-brand 5 star hotels on this tour – we focus on small, beautiful boutique hotels where you get to know the staff and experience it all.
This 2027 tour will take you to Cairo for 7 nights and to the amazing Nubian city of Aswan for 3 nights! We will experience the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Saqqara Compex, visit the recently opened GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum), walk and shop in the Old Market after visiting old mosques and homes (Khan el Khalili), ride on the Nile, see live dance shows, shop at a curated costume trunk show, release travel stress and move with pilates classes, study with Cairo-based bellydance teachers, visit temples and historical sites in Aswan, attend a live Nubian show, study Nubian dance and so much more!
Tour Dates: April 3 – 12 2027 with arrivals on the 3rd and departures on the 13th. First day of tour April 4 and last day of tour April 12.
